Wagoner Access Planting Day

What to bring:  snacks, water, work gloves, waders, garden shears   

This will be a live stake and tree planting day at Wagoner Access to complete the stream restoration project. 

What to wear: Clothes for cool/cold weather, sturdy boots, rubber boots if you have them

New River Conservancy managed a stream restoration project at Wagoner Access and this planting day’s goal is to plant native shrubs and trees along the stream where work occurred. By filling in these gaps with live stakes and trees we hope to reduce bank erosion and increase native plant diversity which will have positive impacts on terrestrial and aquatic wildlife.
